Crema di Roma is the name Giuseppe Lopez has given to the typical cheese of Roman countryside and is so called for its sweetness and lightness. Lopez is widely considered to be one of the finest producers of Pecorino Romano. This Roman cheese producer also makes several other cheeses, such as Crema di Roma and flavored Crema di Roma. Compared to Pecorino Romano, Crema di Roma is younger and a more suitable table cheese.
